Snake season has started again for 2014/2015 after a cold winter, spring temperatures are starting to warm up, and the calls are starting to come through, already I have captured snakes in Eltham, Donvale, Warrandyte and Templestowe, last season there was more juvenile snakes than normal after a good breeding season, some of these juveniles are wandering into places that are unsuitable probably increasing the amount of calls, however there was also a lot of very large specimens last season which kept things interesting.
